We bring together the tradition of woodworking and technological innovation
We create custom-made furniture for homes and spaces designed with attention to detail. Each project stems from the experience of those who have known wood for generations, where the mastery of artisans meets the technological rigor of today, promising to design pieces that will last over time.

The brand
Crafted by tradition.
Designed for tomorrow.
Founded in 1993 by Mário Ruas, driven by a deep passion for traditional woodworking, Obliqo is the result of more than three decades of experience in Portuguese craftsmanship.
In 2018, the new generation is investing in specialized training and revitalizing the field, giving rise to a new, more contemporary vision.
More integrated. Closer to the architecture, design, and needs of each client.
Without losing what has always defined the company: meticulous execution.
Over the years, we have learned that the true value of furniture lies not only in how it is made, but in how it transforms spaces and becomes part of the lives of those who inhabit them.
Today, we combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technologies, materials and processes to create fully bespoke solutions, designed for each space and each client.

We visit
Every project begins with our relationship with the client. We seek to understand the space, individual needs and the way it will be lived in, laying the foundations for a truly bespoke solution.
We design
Material, light and proportion guide our creative process. We present our clients with hyper-realistic 3D visualisations in a dedicated meeting, where functionality, material choices and construction details are carefully considered.
We engineer
We translate the design into automated machining processes, with each component precisely engineered and prepared for production.
We craft
In our facilities, decades of traditional woodworking expertise meet the precision of automated technology. The hands-on knowledge of our craftsmen comes together with the expertise of our engineering team, creating the perfect balance between craft and technology.
We install
Every project is installed with the same care with which it was conceived. Our specialised team works with precision and continuous oversight, ensuring that the finished space remains true to the original concept.
Spaces that reflect those who live in them.
More than making furniture, we design solutions that become part of people's stories.
Pieces made for today, designed to last a lifetime.
